Healing Sexual Trauma Is Possible – Begin From Where You Are

I am a 3 time participant in Days of Healing. As I look back, I can see that with each retreat another layer of healing emerged. The wholeness of who I am is clearer than the fear and shame I carried. Shared with others I could support and be supported, I realized I was not alone. Liz, Kate and Mary interweave their wisdom, compassion and lived experiences in healing. They have created a pathway that brings love, hope and healing into the complex wounds of sexual assault. The women of Clear Path Wellness, create a safe space to heal; to move beyond fear and shame and express what has been longing to be given a Voice.

At the retreat, throughout the intense psychodramas, Kate used immense skill and wisdom to lead each of us to new freedoms. Our healing was integrated through bodywork with Mary, [Trauma Sensitive] Yoga with Liz, and community building. I was deeply impacted by the retreats and follow-up experiences–in fact, I was changed forever.

Imagine drowning in a dark pit of muck, barely keeping your head above the water. You want to breathe, but it’s so hard.  Suddenly, there is not one hand, but three. They reach in, hold you tight, and gently pull you to the surface. What a glorious feeling. While the journey out is messy, the air above is clean and so easy to take in. This has been my experience with the compassion and knowledge of Kate, Mary and Liz of Clear Path Wellness.[Lehigh Valley] Their unique treatment plan and steady support gave me freedom from many years of emotional torment. To say they saved my life is a cliche but it truly sums it up. My only wish is that more women and men have the opportunity to feel this great gift. I wholeheartedly endorse Clear Path and it’s unique design and purpose.
